Tariff

ON A SELF-CATERING BASIS

For up to four people

 

The prices quoted are for 7 days, usually Saturday to Saturday

The cottage is let weekly or for long week-ends out of high season.

However, as many flights in and out of Gatwick are mid-week we can usually accommodate guests requirements.

 

Linen and towels are included.

• Jan /March £500 per week

• April /June  £600 per week
• July/August £700 per week
• Sept/Oct £600 per week
• Nov/Dec £500 per week
• Bank Holidays £700 per week
• Long Week ends.  Cost for each day is 20% of weekly charge.

We are required to hold your Visa details in lieu of a damage/cleaning deposit. Alternatively, you may prefer us to hold a cheque for £500 which will be returned in full as soon as possible after the cottage has been inspected - provided it is left as found.  

£10 per hour cleaning charge will be made if it is necessary to clean any part of the cottage on departure.

When the booking has been agreed between us, it is necessary for you to secure the booking by either paying £250 per week non-refundable deposit by cheque or Visa. The balance is due six weeks before the start of your holiday. Again, you may pay by cheque or Visa. If the booking is cancelled after the balance has been paid, it is only refunded if we are successful in letting the weeks concerned. It is in your interest to take out holiday insurance to cover any claims you may have.

ON A BED AND BREAKFAST BASIS

Double bedded room with en suite shower room in the main house: £65.00 to £95.00 per night depending on length of stay and time of year. Deduct £5 per night for single occupancy.

A bed and breakfast booking is secured by your Visa details. Cancellation after the booking has been made or ‘no shows’ attract a £50 per night cancellation fee, which would be taken from the Visa card details given. Payment may be made by Cheque with a guarantee card, cash or Visa. When staying on a Bed and Breakfast basis and you wish to pay your bill by Visa, a 1.95% charge will be made, as this cost has not been factored into our charges. This applies to Bed and Breakfast only.

Self catering and B& B: Unless special arrangements have been made guests are not expected to arrive before 4.30 pm in the afternoon and they are expected to leave around 10.00 am on the day of their departure. This is so that we can make the cottage/bedroom ready for our next guests. However, we do need to know your estimated time of arrival (ETA) to ensure that we are here to greet you.
