SelfCatering in the Cottage
When the booking has been agreed between us, your credit card details will secure the booking and a 50% non-refundable deposit will be taken at that time. The balance is due six weeks before the start of your holiday and is taken from your credit card. If the booking is cancelled after the balance has been paid, it is only refunded if we are successful in letting the weeks concerned. It is in your interest to take out holiday insurance to cover any claims you may have.
We expect you to leave the cottage in a clean and tidy condition on your departure. We hold your credit card details as a damage/cleaning deposit. £10 per hour cleaning charge will be made if it is necessary to clean any part of the cottage on departure. Any broken items or damage to the cottage will be reclaimed at cost.
For insurance purposes we need to know the name and ages of all residents to a maximum of four.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the accommodation.Pets are not allowed.
Bed and
Breakfast
A bed and breakfast booking is secured by your credit card details. Cancellation after this or .no shows. attract a £50 per night cancellation fee, which will be taken from the credit card details given. Payment when you leave may be made by Cheque with a guarantee card, cash or Visa. When staying on a Bed and Breakfast basis and you wish to pay your bill by Visa, a 2% charge will be made, as this cost has not been factored into our charges. This applies to Bed and Breakfast only.
When staying in the cottage on a bed and breakfast basis, it is not part of our arrangement with each other for you to invite your friends and family into the cottage at any time
Arrival and Departure
Self catering and B & B: Unless we have agreed a different time between us guests are not expected to arrive before 4.30 pm in the afternoon and they are expected to leave around 10.30 am on the day of their departure. This is so that we can make the cottage/bedrooms ready for our next guests. However, we do need to know your estimated time of arrival (ETA) to ensure that we are here to greet you.
